Hotline to report sexual harassment staffed by lawyers

The Town of Bethlehem announced today that paving of the Glenmont Roundabout will begin the evening of Wednesday, Nov. 17 at 6PM, and continue during the evenings of Thursday, Nov. 18 and Friday, Nov. 19. Depending on the weather and temperatures, paving may occur during the day on Saturday, Nov. 20 to complete the work.

Paving work will affect travel patterns along Route 9W, Feura Bush Road, and Glenmont Road. Paving will be completed in four phases, with a reduced traffic pattern allowing only one leg of the roundabout to move at a time. It is expected to cause significant traffic delays. The work and travel impacts are weather permitting.

Motorists should plan travels accordingly and expect delays. The Town asks for the community’s patience while the paving work is underway. Driveway access to businesses will remain open during all work, so please continue to support our local businesses.

Motorists are reminded to obey flaggers' directions and slow down significantly whenever encountering roadside vehicles displaying red, white, blue, amber or green lights, including maintenance and construction vehicles in work zones.

Motorists are urged to slow down and drive responsibly in work zones. Fines are doubled for speeding in a work zone. Convictions of two or more speeding violations in a work zone could result in the suspension of an individual’s driver license.
