Road Work Alert: 9W
Route 9W Center Turn Lane Construction at Glenmont Plaza – Expected to Begin August 10
During the week of August 10th, Benderson Development (owner of Glenmont Plaza) is expected to begin work installing a two-way center turn lane along Route 9W adjacent to the Plaza property. To accommodate the turn lane, the work will occur on the Plaza’s side of the roadway (widening).
According to Benderson Development, this roadway improvement (along with other internal site modifications) is intended to make the Plaza more appealing to future tenants and enhance the overall customer experience and make parking and access easier. The work, which is expected to last 4 to 6 weeks, also includes modifications to the north and center driveways to the Plaza. All work is expected to occur during the day time hours. Two-way travel will be maintained at all times.
NOTE: this work is not associated with the Glenmont Roundabout project, which is expected to begin later this Fall.
