IMPORTANT NOTICE FOR ALL BUSINESSES: New COBRA rules eff. 2/17/2009. Your employees who have experienced involuntary termination since September 1, 2008, may be eligible for a health insurance subsidy. The new Federal and State economic stimulus package provides for a 65% subsidy of the full premium amount for up to 9 months for certain employees and their dependents. If you have recently terminated any employees, you will want to check out this publication for your responsibilities to former employees.
