Holiday Shopping Card Promotion

It's not too early to start thinking about the Holidays!

The Bethlehem Chamber of Commerce is working on our Annual Holiday Shopping Card Promotion for November 29-December 31, 2014. The Holiday Shopping Card is an initiative of the Chamber’s Retail and Hospitality Committee, which focuses on our small businesses and storefront retailers in town. The program is a continuation of our active Buy Local Initiative and a way to encourage the Bethlehem community to support local businesses during the Holiday shopping season before making trips to area malls. Participation is open to Member and Non-Member businesses. We print and distribute 10,000 Cards in November, prior to the Thanksgiving holiday.

The Town of Bethlehem has engaged the services of GreenPlay LLC, a nationally renowned park and recreation consulting firm, to prepare a Parks and Recreation Master Plan. One major component of this process is the public participation of community leaders, including the business community. Consultants from GreenPlay will host a lunchtime focus group session for businesses on Wednesday, January 14 and would like your participation. The goal is to assess customer satisfaction, identify parks, recreation and open space needs in the community, and understand any other issues that should be addressed in the comprehensive plan. The Business Community's input will be included in a summary presented by the consulting firm on January 15, 7pm at Town Hall.
