COBRA rules
as of 2/17/2009. Employees who have experienced
involuntary termination since Sept. 1, 2008, may be
eligible for a health insurance subsidy. The Federal
and State economic stimulus package provides for a 65%
subsidy of the full premium amount for up to 9 months
for certain employees and their dependents. If you have
recently terminated any employees, you should
check out this
publication for your responsibilities to former
