SABIC Innovative
Plastics (formerly GE Plastics) will host "Selkirk
Community Day" on Thursday, May 15. This Annual
tradition involves over 100 of their employees volunteering
to lend a helping hand to various community projects within
the Capital District. Hats Off to SABIC!
Bethlehem Historical
Association presents its Annual Meeting and Barbecue
Dinner on Thursday, May 15 from 5:30-7:00PM at the
Cedar Hill Schoolhouse on River Road in Selkirk. For more

National Bike to Work
Day is Friday, May 16th. Stop by the CDTA Park and Ride
lots on either Delaware Avenue or Elm Avenue between
6:30-8:30am to receive a quick bike check from area bike
shops and some safety flashers or leg bands from NY
Bicycling Coalition. Registrants are eligible for a drawing
of prizes provided by LL Bean. For more info go to

Kiwanis Club of Delmar
is holding their Annual Pancake Breakfast on
Saturday, May 17th from 8am until noon at the Delmar
Presbyterian Church at 585 Delaware Avenue. Donations for
Adults: $5.00, Under 12: $4.00, Preschool: Free. All proceeds
help fund Kiwanis projects for youth.
Singer/Songwriter Jeff
Gonzales will appear at Bethlehem Library on Sunday,
May 18th at 2pm for a concert with his guitar. Admission
is FREE. Concert is co-sponsored by Bethlehem Senior
Projects with funding from Albany County Dept of Aging.
Pizza and Art for Children with
Special Needs will be held Tuesday, May 20
from 6-8pm at Blue Dog Arts at 333 Delaware
Avenue. The cost is $3 per person and includes food and arts

Family Game Night
at Bethlehem Public Library on Wednesday, May 21
from 6:30-8:30pm. Everyone is invited for board games,

Bethlehem Public Library on Thursday, May 22 at 7pm.
Blue Dog Arts are inviting
children to drop by every Thursday through the end of June
and enjoy Crafts and Arts. Blue Dog Arts is located at 333
Delaware Avenue and will welcome children between 3pm and

The Rotary Club Foundation is
holding their 5th Annual Teeing for Charity Golfing Event
on Monday, June 2nd at Normanside Country
Club from 8:30am to 5:30pm. The event includes greens
fees, golf cart, driving range and putting green use as well
as a continental breakfast, lunch and beverages. Proceeds
from the event go to support local charities and

their Annual Garden Tour on Wednesday, June 11 from

Community Caregivers Fourth Annual
Golf Tournament will be held Monday, June 23 at

Fourth of July Family Event at the Bethlehem Town
Hall, 11am. The Declaration of Independence will be read
by Bethlehem Town Supervisor Jack Cunningham, Presentation
of Colors, Pledge of Allegiance, and the singing of the
National Anthem. Refreshments will be provided.
