8 Day Journey
**Open to all Travelers in the Community**
The Bethlehem Chamber of Commerce and Chamber Discoveries present this 8-day journey to Ireland. Ireland is located in the North Atlantic and is the third largest island in Europe. The island has lush vegetation due to its mild but oceanic climate, and Ireland is free of the temperature extremes we experience here in the Northeast. Experience the Cliffs of Moher, one of Ireland's most visited sites, and Galway, a harbor city located on the West coast. The trip includes two castle visits - Kilkenny Castle and Bunratty Castle - as well as an excursion to Dingle and a visit to the Rock of Cashel. There is also an optional two day Dublin post-tour excursion.
The 8 day trip begins on Monday, October 15, 2018 and includes round trip airfare from New York City, round trip transfers between airports and hotels, 6 nights of first class hotel accommodations, daily breakfast and tours.

2017 marks the 60th Anniversary Year of the Bethlehem Chamber of Commerce ~ a community organization serving Bethlehem since 1957. The Bethlehem Chamber was grown from the Delmar Businessmen’s Association, a group of business owners in the sole shopping district of Bethlehem at the Four Corners in Delmar. At that time, the Chamber's focus was beautification of the main shopping area, with the addition of park benches, flowers, sponsored sidewalk sales and encouraging businesses to locate here. Businesses at the time included pharmacies, a five-and-ten-cent store, movie theater, butcher, bakery, barber shop, two bowling alleys and a roller skating rink. A number of these businesses are still in existence today.
Over the decades, as the town has grown, so has the Bethlehem Chamber, serving over 500 business and non-profit members in each of our 7 hamlets – Delmar, Elsmere, Glenmont, North and South Bethlehem, Slingerlands, Selkirk, and beyond to the greater Capital Region. The Chamber continues to provide our members with business, marketing, workforce and regulatory support, as well as an affordable option for health and dental insurance. It also remains a trusted resource for residents and those looking to relocate to town.Read More
