Happy New Year! With a new year comes some changes at the Chamber designed to better serve our members.
First, we’ve refreshed our newsletter. This new design is easier on the eyes and allows our members to find the news they need quickly. Remember, we get our news from you! Members can submit news by signing into your chamber account and posting it.
Also new for 2019 are benefits designed to save you money. We’ve partnered with EnergyNext to help our members save on their energy costs. There is no cost to sign up or participate. By joining with other chambers and associations across the northeast we can give our members the buying power of larger corporations. For more information click here.
We have partnered with Pinnacle Human Resources and will be offering Department of Labor Sexual Harassment training. Knowing that shutting down your business and sending your whole staff for training at once could be a hardship we have scheduled trainings throughout the first quarter so that our members can send small groups over the next few months. For more information click here.
We are also refreshing our 2019 Print Directory. We will be including some articles in the publication to help give readers get a better feel of the community. And we’re looking for some pictures that say “Open this Directory!” If you have a photo you would like to share, please email it to the Chamber by February 22.
In addition, we are offering an incentive to our members that purchase a full page ad by January 31. Every company that submits their completed full page ad contract by January 31 will receive a certificate for a FREE “Hot Deal” ad on our website! The Hot Deal will run in February and is valued at $25.
Watch your inbox as we are finalizing the date for our Chamber 101 Breakfast. This event is a must attend program as we will show you how to make the most of your membership. We will help you understand all of the benefits that come with your membership and teach you ways to leverage them.
Finally, in order to best meet your needs we will be surveying our members in January. This survey will help us develop programs and services for 2019. Survey participants will be entered to win an advertising package worth $500.
We look forward to serving you in 2019!
Maureen McGuinness, President
The Thinking Behind our New Logo
At the Bethlehem Chamber of Commerce, we're always asking ourselves "How can we help a small business thrive in today's marketplace?" And when we sit down to create new membership benefits, it's usually that question that guides us.
Our updated brand communicates that philosophy to the community. The cleaner, more streamlined design illustrates our understanding that a small business needs to be efficient to thrive in the modern world. And the ring that encircles the b represents both our understanding that the business world is constantly evolving, as well as our commitment to acting as a central, grounding force in the lives of our member organizations.
We hope you'll join us as we move deeper into the 21st century, and approach all the exciting challenges and opportunities that come with being a small business in our community.
For more information on joining the chamber, contact us at 439-0512 or email@example.com
Thanks to Chamber member organization MCA3 Marketing and Creative Services for helping us design our new brand.
